2021 VINTAGE FEATURES
Pagadebit is a hidden treasure in the Italian wine making tradition: only 150 hectares are grown in Romagna and on the hill of Bertinoro it gives its best. Only in Bertinoro the grapes meet the Spungone rock (calcareous ancient rock hidden in Bertinoro’s soils) and develops a special salinity.
2021 wasn’t an easy vintage for hilly areas, where drought hit hard until mid-September. Despite that, Campi di Fratta and Cellaimo vineyards were able to tackle this dry season, producing excellent grapes: this wine is really fresh, mineral with chalky notes, typical of Bertinoro’s soil.
