2020 VINTAGE FEATURES

Albana grapes are traditionally well suited for the production of sweet wines, history and legend narrate that Galla Placidia, daughter of Theodosius, Emperor in Ravenna in Byzantine times, was captivated by this wine and who knows how many women in history were fascinated by Albana.

This year part of the grapes usually dedicated to the Passito type were employed for the other two sweet wines of our range, it means, for Le Querce and for Talandina. For this reason we obtained  rich concentration, supported by acidity and the typical structure of this grape variety.
Harvest took place the second week of September, berries were gold yellow, crunchy and very perfumed.
We interpreted this grape at its best, resulting is a clean and straightforward wine.
