2018 VINTAGE FEATURES

2018 can be considered “back to normal” after the severe drought of 2017 harvest.
Even though May was quite rainy, we were able to keep powdery mildew and downy mildew under control. In June weather was regular once again and we approached harvest with the due balance.
Healthy, crunchy grapes, good phenolic maturation allowed us to make a wine the respects Sangiovese’s identity and barrel ageing confers much more savor and length.
